Management was very nice. I stopped in prior to our stay to check out the pool and was offered to check out both a standard room and a suite. We had a slight issue upon one of check ins and the clerk on site was new. One of the other staff came back resolve the issue and stayed to teach the clerk how to fix the issue. The rooms were nicer and larger than expected for the price . As others have posted, the rooms are not soundproof, and that proved true when a group of teen girls returned to their rooms noisily late evening. We could hear others snoring next door, but it did not affect our stay. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to others. Very impressed with the breakfast option...scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, blueberry English muffins, rolls, toast, waffles, cereal and fruit. This is a more than ample start to your day when stopping in Berea to visit the crafters, shopping, etc...and economical. Great job Red Roof Inn!
Newly remodeled hotel with all of the basic necessities. Pet-friendly, pool and laundry facilities. Breakfast included in rate, but heavily carbohydrate focused.
The minuses : no fridge , microwave , or alarm clock in the "standard " room. Basic cable no on demand (cable goes to channel 64) . The pool is too warm and no hot tub . Housekeeping is slow or does not respond . Breakfast is lacking. We got down to the breakfast and they were out of milk so you couldn't have any cereal and they didn't have any other drinks besides coffee since the milk was gone I have a 2 year old son so he can't have coffee?? Management didn't offer to run down the street and get more milk they just" Shrugged their shoulders" . The halls smelled highly of cigarettes. The outside doors don't lock . Found bugs in room and only offered 20.00 off a 90.00 room. Going home itchy and hungry . Will never stay again .
The staff there is amazing. We were in town for a wedding and long story short we needed a place for the rehursal dinner very quickly and they were more than happy to help us out. The only one complaint I would have at all is that there was no refrigerator there it was cold enough outside that, that did not matter. Other than that the place was clean and no other complaints.
The plus's: pet friendly and convenient to 75.
Olivia at the front desk was awful. Waited outside for 20 minutes to check in because she was sleeping in the back. She had sleep lines on her face. She didn't know her job at all!! We went to another hotel down the road.
